who am i?;
My name is Michelle Gamboa.
My birthdate is May 11, 1991.
Currently, I’m studying at Drew University
as a Studio Art Major.
Fascinated by the imaginary, captivated by what I see in books, video games, animation, and the works of my peers and idols, I’ve always wanted to create my own art, too, somehow. Growing up, I figured out that I wanted to share my thoughts with others, through imagery. Because, why not?
Enamored with the surreal, I guess I can say that I have an affinity for things that… don’t really exist. At least, in reality. Art makes those things come to life, in a way. And I want to share a love for that with my viewers. I feel there’s always room for a little bit of whimsy, as it makes every day a little bit more colorful.

The world of art is a vast one, but I’d love nothing more than to explore it. It’s always changing, and the challenges of establishing one’s self in it are daunting. But I feel like I’ve grown fond of this excitement, this wonder.
What will I do? Where will I go? Whether or not these questions are a reflection of fear or just contemplation, it’s starting not to matter to me.
Instead, in the end, I just want to move. To go further, anywhere, with my work and my visions.
